We had major issues with physical documentation storage, tracing as well as keeping it all safe. Our admin office is 200km from our different stores, so documentation would alway get lost in transit. With our business growing, the quantity of documents was becoming an issue because the capacity was just too large , particularly when needing to physically attach 100’s of pages to one of many payments at a time! Then filing that weekly was even more of a nightmare!
We have a clear audit trial of documentation that has been recorded & what was successfully processed – if something is missing, then it won’t validate which is a convenient red flag for any documents not captured, but certainly was supposed to be captured. Having a few admin staff dealing with different divisions/stores, it is fantastic to ALL be able to easily access any documents if the designated staff member is out of office or if a supplier is urgently requesting a document.
ABSOLUTELY ! Paperless is the way to go & we wouldn’t want it with anyone besides Capisol! The consultants at Capilink are friendly & efficient – highly recommended ! Holding an Honours degree in Informatics and Chemistry, Jacques has been passionate about business, computers and science from a very young age. He began his career in research chemistry, and – somewhat ironically – worked on the gases used in the manufacture of computer chips. Fuelled by an immense, life-long passion for technology and efficiency, he then left the chemistry lab behind, to pursue a career in IT.
